BCAAs are a combination of the three branched chain amino acids, Leucine, Isoleucine and Valine. We have incorporated these at a 2 (leucine) 1 Valine and 1 (isoleucine) ratio, which is generally considered the most optimum for muscle growth.
For an effective recovery stack why not combine BCAA’s, EAA’s with Glutamine for the ultimate post workout formula. Take during training to sustain your energy levels and ensure immediate protein resynthesis. Like carbohydrates? Consider adding Dextrose, Maltodextrin or WMS to the mix.
BCAAs are well known for their ability to help muscle repair, supplementing with these can decrease breakdown of other amino acids and lead to a more positive nitrogen balance, which in turn may help muscle growth. Branched chain refers to their chemical structure, which sets them apart from other amino acids.
The BCAAs valine and leucine play an important role in stress, energy and muscle metabolism. These two amino acids are used directly by skeletal muscle as energy sources and are thought to have anabolic properties.
This means they help promote protein production, storage and muscle growth.
BCAAs are well known for their potential muscle building effects. BCAAs have an effect on all protein metabolism, and during periods of stress are required by the body in larger amounts than any other amino acids.
BCAAs are thought to decrease the rate of breakdown and utilisation of other amino acids, and may help build muscle during and following exercise by decreasing protein breakdown and increasing protein synthesis.
BCAA supplementation may also improve mood and the performance of difficult tasks following exercise.
Our BCAAs are pharmaceutical quality and over 99% pure.
Like flavoured amino acids but don't want any unnecessary additives? Why not try our flavouring satchels that flavour 1kg of amino acids. At an inclusion rate of just over 5% with no carbohydrates these transform the taste of any amino acids. http://www.bulknutrients.com.au/flavouring.cfm
Dosage
Due to their potential muscle building and recovery effects, the most effective time to have BCAAs is around training time. Here, people often have a combination of BCAA?s and Glutamine as well as a simple carbohydrate source.
A typical dose of BCAAs is between 5 and 20g, often multiple times per day. |
