| MILK THISTLE (80% Silymarin) |
|
Milk thistle is a plant native to Europe. It has a long history of use as a remedy for liver and gallbladder disorders. The active constituent of milk thistle is thought to be silymarin, a flavonoid found in the seeds. Milk Thistle is commonly used for those who want to protect their livers from excess stress. Note that our Milk Thistle is a very potent extract, so a dose much smaller than that from the plant is needed.
Dosage
A typical dose of Milk Thistle is around 200mg to 800mg per day.
