In 2016 Sam won his WBFF pro card after coming first in the Muscle Model category and has plans to compete at a pro level in 2018.
Sam has recently converted to a completely plant based diet and loves the way way it makes him feel.

Q&A with Sam
1. How did you discover your passion for bodybuilding?
It didn’t take long for my passion to ignite in bodybuilding. Just finishing college and the associated sports (rugby & rowing) I was looking for a new hobby, the routine suited me and the results were rapid which was motivating.
2. Besides bodybuilding what other sports do you enjoy?
Bodybuilding takes a lot of time and effort and leaves little room for other activities. For years I was 110% committed to the sport but now I’ve found a greater life/work/training balance and have started training for my first Triathlon with my family and the Bulk Nutrients Team.
3. What is your ultimate cheat meal?
Ice cream is my weakness, I have a massive sweet tooth and I'm envious of anyone who prefers savoury as I'm sure my ice cream addiction hinders my results at times.
4. Why do you enjoy being a Bulk Nutrients Ambassador?
Being an ambassador provides some awesome opportunities to travel around Australia to some of the over 100 events we sponsor each year, I've been lucky enough to be invited to every state in Australia over the years.
