To celebrate the launch of our Protein Mug Cakes, we’ve put together a list of seven delicious, non-traditional ways to use them!

Like you could just have them on their own as a tasty afternoon snack… or if you have some spare time and macros you could jazz them up with some amazing, sweet additions.

Our Mug Cakes are so easy and delicious.

What are Mug Cake?

Bulk Nutrients Mug Cake are the perfect (almost) guilt free treat for those trying to cut back on high calorie, sugary desserts.

They combine Micellar Casein with Egg Protein and Whey Protein Concentrate for a balanced high protein boost. Almonds, coconut, oats and cacao are also included for their vitamins, minerals and healthy carbohydrates.

Each serve contains 20 grams of protein, 10 grams of carbs and less than 2 grams of sugar and saturated fats.

Mug Cakes are seriously easy to make. You simply tip the sachet into a mug, mix with water and microwave for 60 seconds. This makes them perfect for time-poor sweet lovers.

But if you have a bit more time and a few more ingredients on hand our Mug Cakes can take on a whole new deliciously decadent form.

This is a recipe creation made in heaven. The waffles are fluffy and chocolaty without so much guilt.

We include Whey Protein Concentrate and Mug Cakes in these waffles to bump up the protein content and to give you the benefits of fast acting and slow release protein which helps keep you full for longer.

If you want to go all the way, there’s the option to top these with our cookies and cream raspberry ripple ice cream, which is a must for sweet tooths!

Decadent Banana Mug Cake Waffles

We’re big fans of waffles at Bulk HQ and so it happens our Mug Cake premix makes the perfect base for a fluffy waffle.

Simply add an egg to the mixture and pop into a waffle maker! It’s that simple.

Now the toppings are where you can get a little creative. You can’t go wrong with warmed berries and maple syrup but if you’re in the mood for a treat spread a little Nutella and sprinkle some cacao nibs for a more chocolaty indulgence.
