We are very pleased to announce that long time customer and renowned Adventurer Kyle Williams is the latest addition to the Bulk Nutrients family!
For those that don’t know of Kyle, we’d like to tell you a little about his past. Kyle is an Australian adventurer and fitness coach, with over 20 years experience in these fields as an athlete, coach and expedition leader. As an adventurer, Kyle has successfully led hundreds of corporate clients on a diverse range of adventures across the globe including the Kokoda Track, Western Australia’s Kimberley Region and Tasmania’s Overland Track. Kyle is considered an expert in Australia’s Snowy Mountains region, having completed over 50 expeditions in the area and created the first commercial expedition to climb the highest 10 peaks (Aussie 10).
In November 2013, Kyle set a world first by becoming the first person to climb all of Australia’s highest mountains nonstop. The ‘A2k’, as it is known, required climbing 26 peaks of 2000 metres or higher by hiking 130 kilometres across the Snowy Mountains through vast amounts of off-trail snow terrain, gaining nearly 6000 metres of elevation, enduring 48 hours of no sleep and surviving extreme alpine weather conditions.
As a fitness coach and writer, Kyle is well known for his results based training approach. His articles have been widely published in many Australian magazines including Ultrafit Australia, Triathlon & Multi-Sports Magazine, Run For Your Life and Triathlon Queensland. His novel training methods have been successfully adopted by athletes, military and emergency services employees, and weekend warriors.
Kyle lives by the personal mantra of kaizen (seeking constant improvement). He seeks adventure not for glory, but to undertake a continual journey of self-exploration and empowerment by challenging his limits.
Kyle has several major adventures coming up in 2014 and 2015. First up in November 2014, Kyle and team mate Jamie Smith will attempt a never before completed ultra marathon adventure through Australia’s highest mountain range in the Snowy Mountains. As per Kyle’s mantra of ‘seeking constant improvement’, there is little doubt that he has big things planned for 2014 and 2015. We’ll bring you updates of Kyle’s adventures with a special focus on the nutritional aspect required to power these ultra events! Find out more about Kyle at his website: www.kylewilliams.com.au
