Sesamin

Sesamin is a lignan derived from sesame seeds(Sesamum indicum) which operates as a fatty acid metabolism modifier in the body. Sesamin works to inhibit vitamin E metabolism, which causes a relative increase in circulating levels of γ-tocopherol and γ-tocotrienol. This prevents the degradation of vitamin E.

Sesamin has antioxidant and anti inflamammary properties and is commonly used as a fat burner.
