Lara is a Monash University Biomedical Sciences graduate who is currently undertaking a Master’s Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics as well as a Personal Training certificate. She’s a busy bee with a passion for all things health and fitness.

After losing 20kg on her own weight loss journey, Lara discovered how much she loved eating nutritious food and looking after her body and will never go back!

I’m a nutritionist, IFBB competitor and an avid lover of health and fitness. It’s great to meet you!

In recent years I’ve gone from being overweight and unhappy, to losing over 20kgs and winning multiple bikini bodybuilding competitions.

During this I completely changed my lifestyle, got into the fitness industry and never looked back. I now have my own online business catering to individuals seeking to better themselves.

I’ve been a proud Bulk Nutrients Ambassador for the last three years. My journey with Bulk began from humble beginnings - before all the success on stage. Their products really helped shape who I am today.

Training Schedule

Most of my training is done through F45 cardio sessions and I supplement them with a variety of targetted sessions at the gym. Add to that a healthy lifestyle with plenty of walking, and I'm all set for the week.

A usual week of training for me looks like...

  • Monday Morning - F45 session
  • Monday Evening - Shoulders
  • Tuesday - Legs session, glutes focused
  • Wednesday Morning - F45 session
  • Wednesday Evening - Back & biceps
  • Thursday - Legs session
  • Friday - F45 session and upper body session
  • Saturday - F45 session and a walk
  • Sunday - Upper body session

My approach to nutrition

I am religious to meal prep. I love to keep a balanced approach and prep my meals Monday - Friday and then have a more balanced approach come the weekend

Generally I try to avoid foods high in sugar as they make me hold weight. But then it's difficult to do when chocolate, pizza, and all the other naughty things exist as cheat meals :)

What is my average daily calorie intake? Around 2,500

My day on a plate


  • 100g of rice flakes
  • 150 grams of berries
  • 1 scoop of Thermowhey Salted Caramel

Meal 2

  • 4 brown rice cakes
  • 150 grams of turkey breast
  • 50 grams of avocado
  • Salad to top

Meal 3

  • 150 grams of brown rice
  • 1 cup of lettuce
  • 50 grams of beetroot
  • 200 grams of pumpkin
  • 1/2 cup of capsicum, cucumber and onion
  • 50 grams of avocado
  • 100 grams of chicken breast

Meal 4

  • 80 grams of chicken breast
  • 1 cup of greens
  • 150 grams of white basmati rice
  • 10 almonds

Meal 5

  • 150 grams of barramundi
  • 1 cup of stir fry vegetables
  • 200 grams of basmati rice
  • 15 cashews

My current goals is to compete in the Arnolds in 2020. Might not sound like much, but it requires constant dedication and mental energy.
