Creatine Monohydrate

Why I love it: I never used to use Creatine, and wow was I missing out! I began using a different brand but it was very grainy and hard to drink. I made the choice to try out Bulk's Creatine and it’s amazing. It’s so smooth and dissolvable and it gives me such a pump at the gym, plus it’s made my muscles fill out much more too! I’m so impressed and it’ll forever be a staple in my supplement stack!

How I use it: I combine it with Pre Workout, Beta Alanine and Citrulline (all of course by BN!)

Beta Alanine

Why I love it: Beta Alanine is a staple in my pre workout stack. It gives me such an insane pump and provides me with so much more energy that I need for my heavy workouts. It mixes so well in water so you don’t feel any gritty bits in your drink!

How I use it: I mix it in my pre workout stack :)

Citrulline Malate

Why I love it: I also use this in my pre workout stack! I find Citrulline to help me focus more during my workouts as well as give me a mad boost of energy to get through the session! It also has no taste so it doesn’t change the flavour of anything you mix it in too.

How I use it: Combined with Creatine, Pre Workout and Beta Alanine.

BCAA Recovery Lemonade

Why I love it: It tastes just like a fresh lemonade paddle pop! I’ve never had a BCAA that tastes so amazing before. Especially in the summer months, I mix it with ice cold water and it tastes incredible! It dissolves perfectly and I find it helps me recover faster after a heavy workout. Did I mention it tastes AMAZING?!

How I use it: Tall glass of iced water and ice cubes.

Training Schedule

I train 5x days a week, 3x lower body and 2x upper body.

I focus more on conventional exercises like squats, deadlifts and bench press to build a strong foundation and then I add in isolation work to build up my target areas.

My coach and I sit down and after examination of my weak/strong body points, we formulate a program to strengthen and grow the areas we need to for my next competition based on the judges feedback I receive!

My approach to nutrition

As I compete in bodybuilding, I meal prep daily!

I choose to stick to whole carbs and lean proteins such as pocked chicken and white fish (and also occasionally lean beef mince) as these digest well in my body. On the weekends I occasionally treat myself to a bit of dark chocolate or a protein brownie to satisfy my sweet cravings!

To me, food is fuel. My body is the only one I have and I want to fuel it with the best foods possible so it can perform at its best!

What is my average daily calorie intake? 1800-2200

Are there foods you avoid? Why? I avoid white carbs such as white pasta and white bread. For some reason these foods bloat me and give me bad stomach cramps. They also impact my digestion which is a horror especially for competition prep!

Foods I crave... CHOCOLATE! Who can resist a big block of milk chocolate?

My ultimate cheat meal is... I absolutely love getting a big burger from Grill’d. They’re somewhat healthy, right?

My day on a plate

My food basically stays the same each day each week and it looks something like this:

Breakfast - 2 slices of whole meal toast, 2 eggs, 60g spinach and 100g mushrooms, 20mL sugar free BBQ sauce and 10g low salt butter. Also have 1 scoop fat burner with 1 scoop Bulk Acetyl L Carnitine.

Pre workout - 1 whole meal wrap, 20mL lite mayo, 100g chicken and 50g lettuce. In my drink I have 1 scoop pre workout, 1 scoop Bulk creatine, 1 scoop Bulk beta alanine and 2 scoops Bulk Citrulline Malate.

Post workout - Bulk WPI in chocolate. 100g basa Filet, 100g green beans, 200g mashed sweet potato with 10g butter.

Lunch - 125g high fibre while pasta, 200g extra lean mince, 100g pasta sauce, 30g brown onion and 10g parmesan cheese.

Dinner - 125g brown rice, 250g picked chicken, 50g black olives, 100g Nepolitana sauce, 10g garlic, 50g shredded carrots.

Before bed snack - 150g low fat Greek yogurt with 100g fresh diced mango!
