Polo is a horseback mounted team sport. Also referred to as the “sport of kings” polo is one of the oldest sports in the world and is derived from ancient equestrian games that were used to train calvary units.
Modern polo is seperated into field polo which has four players per team and arena polo which only has three. The objective is to hit a small hard ball into the goals using a long-handled wooden mallet.
Polo training consists of horseback riding drills and technical skills with the mallet. After training supplementing with a high-quality protein source will help maintain and develop lean muscle mass as well as speed up recovery between training sessions.
