New Year, New Releases!

We started 2024 with a bang – launching our latest and greatest product innovation, Protein Water!

A delicious mix of collagen, WPI, BCAAs and electrolytes, it’s quickly proven to be an incredibly popular product with our customers. It’s a tasty, sugar and fat free alternative to soft drinks, and its form as a clear protein powder makes it a lightweight alternative to a traditional milky protein.

After months of work by our R&D department (and happy taste testing from the wider Bulk team), Protein Water was an instant hit.

We all lead busy lives, and sometimes it feels like the days never end! With everything we have going on, sometimes it can be hard to fall asleep, and you wake up feeling like your eyes never shut.

With a name some of our OG customers might remember, we relaunched Max Sleep in January.

Formulated with Glycine and Taurine, which can help support the transition into sleep, and Magnesium and Zinc that work in synergy to aid you in resting easier and waking up feeling refreshed without that groggy hungover feeling!

It comes in a great blackcurrant flavour and is easily mixed with water to be consumed right before bed.

Going back to the theme of refreshing summer drinks, we launched a new limited edition flavour of our BCAA Recovery – Peach Iced Tea!

Delicious and refreshing, Peach Iced Tea contains the same great 2-1-1 ratio of BCAAs that is considered the best, and the quality you’ve come to expect from Bulk Nutrients!

A New Look For An Old Favourite!

February brought about a refresh for an oldie but a goodie, our Earth Protein! Changing from the old brown and green packaging, our new design makes the bags blend in with the rest of our range a little more seamlessly!

Slowly rolling out in our flavours as they were produced, there’s no change to the great flavour you’ve come to enjoy in our vegan protein powder!

We Said Some Goodbyes…

To keep our range fresh and up to date, that sadly means from time to time we need to discontinue products so that we can make and store new ones!

So far this year we’ve said goodbye to some old favourites, including our Protein Mousse, Mug Cakes, Plant Protein Pancakes and the KidActiv range – and you’ve sold us out of some of our limited edition flavours of HCP and Total Meal Replacement!

The good news? Our R&D team is busy working on new flavours and new products that are sure to tickle your tastebuds!

The JackJumpers Won The NBL Championship Series!

In case you missed it, we’ve been a Major Partner of the Tasmania JackJumpers since day one. We’ve excitedly followed their progress and their finals prowess and couldn’t be prouder of how hard the team have worked.

Coming third on the overall NBL ladder for the 2023-24 season, the team had an incredible finals campaign and came out victorious over ladder leaders Melbourne United, taking the Championship Series in a thrilling 3-2 win.

It’s the perfect end to the first three years of a team that’s been described as the most successful expansion team in the NBL’s history.

We’ve believed in the Tasmania JackJumpers since the very beginning and can’t wait to see them continue to dominate next season!

Launching Our New AFL & AFLW Partnership

Here at Bulk Nutrients, we love partnering with sporting teams and community organisations to help power the current and upcoming generations of sporting superstars. This is why we were so excited to launch our newest partnerships earlier this year, with the North Melbourne AFL & AFLW teams!

As the Official Nutrition and Supplements Partner of the club, we’ll be working together to hopefully fuel them to ladder success and strong performance both on and off the field.

Bulk Gives Back!

We give away free samples on the regular to our customers – because we’re putting our money where our mouth is. We truly believe our products are some of the best, most affordable products on the Australian market and we want to ensure our regular and potential customers can try before they buy!

It’s not just that though.

We know that as a company we wouldn’t have the success and the staff we do without the support from our customers, so as thanks we like to regularly give back by way of competitions.

Each week, we’ve been giving away a product (and sometimes extra fun things like shakers) across our Facebook and Instagram profiles. Whether it’s a new product or a flavour we think you’ll love, it’s important for us to give back to those who support us regularly.

This year we’ve also relaunched our Bulk Gives Back campaign. Accepting applications from not-for-profit and charity organisations across Australia, we’ll be giving away $1000 a day for 100 days to support those giving back to their local communities.

Getting Out and About!

It almost felt like we were never in the office over the Summer – it’s been a big few months for our Events team! And naturally, a lot of it was health and fitness related!

We attended the Cadbury Marathon here in Tasmania as their Supplement Partner. People may have got their chocolate when they crossed the finish line… but we were there to help them out with all the products they might need for their recovery! We’d been a part of the marathon before the COVID-19 pandemic and were thrilled to be back.

Another great local event we were a part of was the Kunanyi Mountain Run. Working as their Recovery Partner, athletes at the finish line were able to taste some of our products, with our friendly Marketing team also manning a stall filled with samples galore for people to take home and try in their own time. Not only that, but Bulk Nutrients also entered a team in the relay – and we’re so proud of them for tackling the mountain!

Continuing our long-running partnership with Anytime Fitness, our teams attended their one day sale earlier this year, giving out live Protein Water samples, as well as handing out sample sachets of some of our most popular products. Protein Water was also the theme of the JackJumpers Golf Day – keeping keen golfers fuelled during their hard slog around the course! We’ve also had a presence at Baskerville Raceway for the Hobart Sporting Car Club’s 70th Anniversary – hosting a sample station and giveaways, as part of our sponsorship deal with the raceway.

We also contributed sampling support for the AMA Masters Track & Field Championships in Hobart, and proudly supported the Tasmanian Powerlifting Team competing in the nationals in Newcastle!

There’s also a lot more that happened in that space… including some exciting partnerships signed, community support and events coming up – but watch this space!
