Why Our NMN Capsules Are Changing
Why Are Our NMN Capsules Changing?
NMN can now be used as an active ingredient in certain Listed Medicines in Australia.
Rather than continuing to sell our existing NMN Capsules as a food product, we’ve chosen to make the move too.
The new product uses CellVive NMN® (Nicotinamide Mononucleotide), the only NMN ingredient currently permitted for use in Listed Medicines in Australia.
It’s pharmaceutical-grade NMN with a purity specification of 99% or greater and is backed by more than 15 peer-reviewed human clinical trials. CellVive NMN® (Nicotinamide Mononucleotide) is also used in Australian university-led NMN research, including trials through the University of Sydney, UTS and NICM Western Sydney University.
What Is Bulk Nutrients NMN 500?
Bulk Nutrients NMN 500 is the new version of our NMN Capsules and is a Listed Medicine included on the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods (ARTG).
Each capsule contains 500mg of CellVive NMN® (Nicotinamide Mononucleotide), with a recommended intake of one capsule per day.
NMN is a precursor the body uses to produce NAD+.
NMN 500 supports:
- General health and wellbeing
- Energy levels and energy production
- Nervous system health and function
- Skin health
- Immune system health
It’s also an antioxidant that helps reduce free radicals formed in the body.
What Does Being a Listed Medicine Mean?
You might have spotted an AUST L number on supplements before without giving it much thought.
This means the product is a Listed Medicine included on the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods.
For NMN 500, moving into this framework means using an NMN ingredient that meets the requirements for use in Australian Listed Medicines.
That’s where CellVive NMN® (Nicotinamide Mononucleotide) comes in - pharmaceutical-grade NMN with a purity specification of 99% or greater and a strong body of clinical research behind it.
What Else Is Changing?
The pack size is changing too.
Our current NMN Capsules come in a 120-capsule bottle. NMN 500 will come in a 60-capsule bottle, with each capsule containing 500mg of CellVive NMN® (Nicotinamide Mononucleotide) and a recommended intake of one capsule per day.
So this isn’t simply a new label on the same bottle.
It’s a new version of our NMN, with a new ingredient specification, new pack format and Listed Medicine status.
Is NMN staying at Bulk?
Absolutely.
Once the remaining stock of our current NMN Capsules is gone, Bulk Nutrients NMN 500 will take its place.
Different bottle. Different ingredient specification. Same place in the Bulk range.
