Business Systems Project Manager (12-Month Contract)
Bulk Nutrients is Australia’s leading direct-to-consumer supplier of sports and nutritional supplements, proudly Australian-owned and operated. We develop, manufacture, and dispatch all our products in Southern Tasmania, making high-quality supplements more affordable to support our customers’ health, fitness, and wellbeing. Recognised as a Tasmanian Employer of Choice in 2023, we thrive on innovation, customer engagement, and building a strong community around health and wellness. We invite you to be a part of this exciting journey!
We’re looking for an experienced Business Systems Project Manager to help take our internal systems and processes to the next level. If you’re a driven project professional who can lead multiple tech implementation projects and collaborate with diverse stakeholders, we want to hear from you.Â
This is a full-time 12-month fixed-term role based in Southern Tasmania, working hybrid across our Grove and Huntingfield sites. It’s a genuine 38-hour week, and after completing probation, we offer flexibility to work from home up to 2 days per week – so you can enjoy a healthy work-life balance.
Your Role
Joining our Digital Transformation team, you’ll be an individual contributor reporting directly to the Digital Transformation Lead. Your primary duties will include managing a portfolio of key digital projects, such as:
- Customer Service platform review and AI opportunities
- Digital signature service migration (in a regulated/TGA manufacturing context)
- HR & WHS systems review and upgrade
- Learning Management System (LMS) implementation
In addition to these projects, you will be responsible for classic project management duties: managing timelines and budgets, mitigating risks, and communicating progress. You’ll engage with vendors, consultants, and internal stakeholders to align solutions with business needs. You’ll also maintain clear project documentation and help organise training or support for staff as new systems come online.
Why Join Bulk Nutrients?
- Make an Impact: Work with a fun, passionate team on innovative projects that will shape the future of Bulk Nutrients. Be at the forefront of our digital transformation in a fast-growing, community-driven business.Â
- Competitive Salary: Enjoy a competitive salary ($100k–$120k FTE, depending on experience)
- Work-Life Balance: We operate on a genuine 38-hour work week. Our hybrid model (after probation) means you can work from home a couple of days per week, while still collaborating on-site when needed – the best of both worlds so you can have a life outside of work.Â
- Great Facilities: Free access to our commercial-grade onsite gyms (to help balance out those bottomless coffee and biscuit breaks in our staff room!).Â
- Awesome Perks: Discounted Bulk Nutrients supplements to support your health goals, paid leave to donate blood during work hours, and an annual $250 contribution towards a sporting team membership of your choice.Â
- Growth & Development: We love continuous learning. You’ll have opportunities for professional development and will get broad exposure to digital initiatives that can take your career to the next level.Â
Our Ideal Candidate
First and foremost, you’ll be a great fit for our team! Culture is very important to us at Bulk Nutrients. We value a curious mindset and someone who is willing to make the next person’s job easier. You’ll also bring the following skills and experience:
- Project Delivery Experience: Proven track record of successfully delivering business systems projects or technology implementations (end-to-end) in any industry. You might have managed CRM/ERP deployments, software rollouts, or similar digital transformation initiatives.Â
- Project Management Skills: 5+ years’ experience in project management or business analysis roles, with exceptional organisation, planning, and time management abilities. Formal qualifications in Project Management (Cert IV, PRINCE2, PMP, or similar) or a relevant tertiary degree are highly regarded (or equivalent hands-on experience).Â
- Stakeholder & Vendor Management: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – able to work closely with internal stakeholders at all levels and negotiate with external vendors/consultants to get the best outcomes.Â
- Change Management Savvy: Understanding of change management and user adoption best practices. You anticipate challenges, communicate changes clearly, and ensure teammates are supported through transitions.Â
- Analytical Problem Solver: Sharp analytical and problem-solving abilities with an eye for detail. You can troubleshoot issues, adapt on the fly, and maintain a cool head under pressure to keep projects on track.Â
- Adaptability: A growth mindset with the ability to learn new domains quickly. While experience in a manufacturing or regulated environment (e.g. TGA or similar compliance) is a bonus, it’s not required – what matters is your ability to rapidly understand business processes and deliver suitable solutions.Â
- Other Essentials: Consistent reliability and follow-through on commitments. A current driver’s licence is required (as you’ll be travelling between our Grove and Huntingfield sites). You must also have the right to work in Australia.Â
