Kyle's Daily Green Protein Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 1 scoop Bulk Nutrients Natural WPI in Chocolate*
  • 500ml water
  • 1 medium sized frozen banana
  • ½ a handful brazil nuts
  • 1 tablespoon cacao powder
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 tablespoon cacao powder
  • 2 to 3 heaped handfuls spinach leaves
  • Dash of salt
  • Dash of cinnamon sugar
  • Dash of cayenne pepper
  • Dash of ginger

*You can use any Bulk Nutrients protein powder in Chocolate for this recipe.

Directions

  1. Place all ingredients into a blender.
  2. Blend on highest setting for 30-45 seconds.
  3. Enjoy!

Reduced Calorie/Carb/Fat Option

  • 500mls Water
  • ½ a medium sized Frozen Banana

  • 1 Tbsp Cacao Powder
  • 1 Tbsp Chia Seeds
  • 1 Tbsp Cacao Powder
  • 2 to 3 heaped handfuls Spinach Leaves
  • Dash of salt
  • Dash of cinnamon sugar
  • Dash of Cayenne Pepper
  • Dash of Ginger

  • Carbs 24g – Sugar 10g
  • Protein 35g
  • Fats 9g
  • Fiber 11g

Variations

  • Add more or less water to make a thinner or thicker consistency respectively
  • If you want a more flavoursome smoothie, substitute coconut milk for water
  • If you want a less dark colour smoothie, omit the cacao powder & use vanilla protein powder
  • To lower the fat content, remove the brazil nuts
  • To reduce the carbs, remove the banana or go with ½ a banana only
