Meet Lindsay! She’s a bubbly fitness and food loving Mum with a passion for helping others create sustainable changes to training and nutrition.

Based on the sunny Gold Coast, Lindsay owns a thriving BFT studio at Robina, and coaches 1:1 online nutrition clients alongside further study become a workplace trainer and assessor for the future fitness industry.

Lindsay has competed in many bodybuilding and fitness competitions over the years with the most rewarding being receiving a pro card for Ms Fitness Australia, Ms Figure Classique 2019.

Hiya, I'm Lindsay!

Married, with two beautiful growing boys, I keep myself busy operating, coaching and managing a thriving BFT community, while studying for further career options with Clean Health Institute and Pinnacle Training. I LOVE personal development.

Starting my fitness career in 2012, I have experienced so many wonderful opportunities that I feel have shaped me for what's to come. Good, bad and everything in between!

With my effortless enthusiasm, infectious personality and magnetic aura for anyone new to exercise or healthy balanced living, my passion lies with face to face coaching and relationships - that I get to nurture in my VERY OWN BFT Studio.

You will find me and my smile in my happy place at Bulk Nutrients activations, helping, inspiring and showcasing what I feel are Australia's best value and pure supplements. I have been passionately serving and enjoying them myself for 10+ years!

I have an educated appreciation for nutrition and training knowledge as it has been my greatest teacher throughout my career. Understanding the "lessons" that failures and setbacks actually provide you have been my epicenter, continually seeking further personal development, reflection and quest for self mastery.

I appreciate my body, its energy and intuition, and I live without judgement to myself or others. I'm grateful for the experience of manipulating body composition, but I adore performance in a thriving body fuelled with the right energy balance!

Training Schedule

When I’m in prep, I mainly weight train a 5-day split and hit a designated step count. Rinse and repeat. Bodybuilding can be quite solo in training as the focus and mindset can be separating.

But for the remainder of the year, I love all types of training, centred around the barbell.

2 days a week I love to train for strength. Each of these days featured around a Deadlift or a Bench Press and their respective accessory movements - the thrust is a must! A favourite movement I must say!

During the other 2 days, I enjoy functional higher volume sessions. Using modifications of the main compound exercises and some basic plyometrics.

Super setting and aiming for reps of 12-15 keeps the heart rate up and the technique on point.

I get to the beach for a walk with my husband and dog at least once or twice a week, and we enjoy riding our bikes to coffee in the mornings.

Active every day, the Gold Coast sunshine makes it easy to remain consistent.

My Approach to Nutrition

Every weekend I clean out my fridge and do the weekly "shop n chop". Essentially turning my kitchen into a mini restaurant allowing me fast delicious nutritious meals that can be prepared in less than 5 minutes.

I make up 3 recipes to serve 8, two of these are usually freezer friendly meals which are perfect for grab n go work meals. I always include at least one salad that will last the week.

What is my average daily calorie intake? Depending on my goals I can comfortably sit anywhere from 1800-2600.

Are there foods you avoid? No restrictions. If anything, I am aware of my emotional response to nutrition and how my sleep and goals affect this.

Foods I crave... I am female, give me the carbs & chocolate!

My ultimate cheat meal is... No 'cheat meals' - I eat anything and everything. My favourite foods right now are Caramilk Twirls, donuts and eating out.

My Day on a Plate

Every day for me can be a little different when it comes to wake up time/training time and what my training goals are for the day - I fuel towards them.

Meal 1: A lower carb option if I'm not training is green eggs and ham - two eggs, two egg whites, 50g ham and 1 grated zucchini like a big omelette. If I am training I'll have a pre workout meal here - usually a double serve of Nutri Grain and Vanilla Matrix as the "milk".

Meal 2: Iced coffee using Bulk Nutrients Vanilla Matrix and a shot of coffee with ice and water or a post training meal containing high energy carbs to fuel my recovery with nutrient timing.

Meal 3: Lunch is always a type of potein (usually chicken) with veg or salad and a source of healthy fats, or a large salad with high energy carbs if required. I have been utilising some ready made "muscle" meals here that's been a great time saver, and a delicious change to my own cooking!

Meal 4 Either a liquid meal with Protein Matrix, frozen fruit and flax meal or the other half of my giant nutrient-packed salad with another service of high energy carbs.

Meal 5 This is always dinner with my family. Hubby is a great cook, we share the duties of creating colourful meals that change with the seasons. Hearty for winter, light and fresh for summer. And yes, my two children eat whatever is in front of them.

When I'm not prepping for a comp, I often track my macros to ensure I am getting in what I need to support my training. I love reaching my individual calories/macros/step goals for the day.

Latest Results

Do you have any medium/long term goals you're working towards?

My long term goal is to become a leader in fitness education - particularly aligned with the Clean Health Institute. I want to "stand on the shoulders of the fitness giants".

Alongside my own personal side hustle "Lindsay Perry Fitlife" that allows me to nurture the growth, education and progress with online clientele who seek the same mission as me. Self mastery and genuine human connection with lifestyle nutrition and education/

I also aspire to return to stage for the femininity FMG oozes! I have prepped twice since 2019, however have not yet made it to stage due to personal or business reasons. It gets harder as your personal responsibilities become greater!
