Pea Protein Isolate

Pea Protein Isolate (PPI) is made by extracting the protein of ground yellow split peas. PPI is vegetarian and vegan friendly as well as being hypoallergenic.

Unlike other vegetable proteins, PPI contains all 20 free form amino acids. Amino acids are the building block of protein and the body requires all of them to effectively build muscle.

PPI is considered a complete protein source because it contains all 9 essential amino acids that can only be obtained through diet; however, it is relatively low in L-Methionine.

It also contains Branched-Chain Amino Acids (BCAAs) which aid with recovery and protein synthesis and can be used as an effective aid in weight loss because of its ability to give a feeling a fullness, suppressing the urges to snack.

PPI is naturally high in iron levels which helps red blood cells transport oxygen around the body’s cells and tissues and is a good source of L-Arginine an amino acid that helps promote healthy blood flow and heart health.
