Sport climbing has three main disciplines:
- Speed climbing – climbing 15 meters in less than 6-8 seconds
- Lead climbing - a height competition, how high can you get in the specified timeframe
- Bouldering - a 5m or less climb where climbers are ranked on the number of routes they have completed in the designated timeframe
Climbing requires a complex skillset including endurance, technical skills, tactics, strength and of course the ability to conquer any fear of heights!
