Maltodextrin is a multiple chained carbohydrate, which is absorbed very rapidly. It has a higher osmotic value than dextrose, which can be beneficial for optimum gastric emptying as well as being gentler on the stomach.
Maltodextrin can be used to assist energy during exercise as well as raising the insulin response.

Dosage
Most users find a dose of between 20g and 50g optimal.
Bulk Nutrients recommends using 100ml of liquid per 10g Maltodextrin.
For best results blend at a 1:1 ratio with Dextrose Monohydrate.
