Buyers Guide to Gains & Growth Supplements
Making muscle gains isn't easy, you need to be eating a caloric surplus (and choosing a wide range of nutritious foods), getting enough rest and of course training hard in the gym to stimulate muscle growth.
But when it comes to bulking, supplements can be your secret weapon.
Pure protein powders make it easy to hit your daily protein goals (and are super handy post workout), gainer blends are ideal to reach your calorie targets without getting too full and specialty extracts like Laxogenin Capsules support lean muscle development and strength.
Here are all the products we recommend for making serious muscle gains...
Protein Powders for Gains and Growth
If you want to grow, you want a high quality protein powder!
Protein is packed with all important amino acids which help build and maintain muscle mass.
A quality protein powder aid in building lean muscle and speeding up recovery after exercise.
The easiest way to hit your protein needs on a gainer diet is with an extra shake or two during the day and Muscle Food 101 is ideal for this. Designed for hard gainers and those looking to bulk up, it contains all the nutrients your body needs to fuel, recover and grow.
Post Workout it's hard to go wrong with a high quality whey protein such as WPC or Protein Matrix+. Earth Protein is also great for dairy free peeps!
Amino Acids for Gains and Growth
The #1 amino acid we recommend for building muscle and size is Creatine. As it's one of the most researched supplements on the market and has been proven to increase muscle volume and strength gains. You can learn more about the benefits of Creatine here.
Amino Acids are also very useful pre workout to aid in muscular endurance, vasodilation (pumps) and improved blood flow. Non-Stim Pre Workout is great for an all in one amino acid based pre workout that'll help keep the intensity up in the gym.
Intra Workout Amino Acids can increase your ability to work hard in the gym, prevent muscle breakdown and can kickstart recovery. We recommend BCAA Recovery to support killer workouts!
Carbohydrates for Gains and Growth
Carbs are key to fuelling the muscle during and replenishing them after tough gym sessions, especially if you're trying to build size. Because muscles filled with glycogen are best for muscle building.
Intra Workout carbs can help you keep going harder for longer and Carb+ is ideal for just this.
Other carbohydrate sources such as Fine Powdered Oats and Maltodextrin can be added to shakes during the day to hit your calorie goals.
Test Boosters for Gains and Growth
Testosterone support products can be beneficial for muscle gains as healthy testosterone levels promote muscle growth! We offer Test Max Powder as well as handy Booster Combination Capsules.
Another great addition would be our popular ZMA Complex Capsules to aid in restful sleep, recovery and testosterone support.

Gains and Growth Frequently Asked Questions
I find it hard to gain weight and size, what is the best product(s) for me?
If you are young and thin and find building muscle hard you just have to eat. "I eat so much, Mum can't believe it" I hear you say - well you have to eat more... Weight gain is the opposite to weight loss, here you have to make sure you are taking in more than you are burning. Your body won't build muscle unless you give it additional calories. One thing a lot of people get wrong is misunderstanding fat. Healthy fats which come from dairy, fish, avocado and MCTs are all very good for you. If you are naturally small you need to create the ideal hormonal situation too, saturated fats are closely linked to testosterone - if you cut down on fats your testosterone levels will suffer. Make sure you are getting plenty of fats, carbohydrates and protein, your body needs all of them to grow.
Talking supplements, any of our proteins are fine, If you are after maximum value, then WPC is the best choice as it offers the best value for money. If you want the convenience of a mass gainer then Muscle Food 101 is a great choice. Creatine would be the next product to add to your stack, no supplement ever produced has been more effective than Creatine for building muscle and at 200 doses for $20, it is amazing value for money. Finally, if you are small and find bulking hard make sure supplements do not replace meals. They should always be taken on top of meals, not instead of.
Can I gain weight and muscle just by adding your products to my diet?
Possibly, but we don't think that would be ideal. Make sure your diet is sound first, by sound we mean a mix of protein, fats and carbohydrates from whole foods - you want a caloric surplus. Make sure your training is effective, ie plenty of heavy compound movements, you are lifting regularly and you are actively getting stronger (by lifting heavier) in the gym. From there pick a good quality protein and Creatine and ensure you don't skimp on food, training, sleep, rest or supps.
How many shakes a day do I need to gain size?
This is an impossible question to answer without knowing your diet and personal situation. For some people it may be zero, you can get masses of protein from meat, tuna, eggs, dairy and plant sources. Generally the more restricted your diet the more shakes you will need to consume. For example, someone cutting for a bodybuilding show may have 3 - 4 shakes a day as they are incredibly fussy about reducing carbohydrates and fats. For an average gym go-er with a good diet, 1-2 shakes a day is a good number, one around training time and another during the day if the adjoining meal is low in protein, or a shake as a snack between meals.
What are the best supplements for muscle growth?
The best supplements for muscle growth are protein and Creatine Monohydrate. From here a good test booster like Test Max can be useful or a product like Laxogenin. The effect of these tend to vary depending on the person though. so while one person may get significant benefits, others may not. Protein and Creatine are more solid in the results you can expect. As mentioned before the most important aspects for muscle growth is consistency in food, training, rest, sleep and supplements!
