Protein Ice Cream Sandwiches

Ice cream sandwiches with added protein? Yes please!
These delicious icy treats were made with the protein lover and gym buff in mind.
The sandwich component is made easy (and tasty) through the use of the Quick Chocolate Protein Ball Mix and the ice cream can be changed by altering the flavour of protein used.
We have two flavours for you to try but experiment and see what you come up with!
Chocolate Honeycomb Protein Ice-cream Sandwich
Ingredients
For the ‘sandwich’
- 2 packet Bulk Nutrients Quick Chocolate Protein Ball Mix
- 60ml coconut oil melted
- 60ml water
- 4 Tbsp desiccated coconut
For the Ice-cream
- 70g banana (1 small of ½ a large) – fresh or frozen.
- 30g (1scoop) Bulk Nutrients Choc Honeycomb WPI/WPC
- 60g Vanilla Greek Yogurt
- 60g coconut cream
Directions
- Make your ice-cream. Add all ingredients to a blender/processor and blend until well combined. Pour into a container/round shaped mould and place into the freezer to set – about 2 hrs min.
- Make your ‘biscuits’ in the meantime.
- Combine the ingredients into a bowl and mix with a spoon. Shape into 2 equal sized ‘disks’ that are slightly larger than the ice-cream fillings. Place into the fridge to firm up.
- To assemble place your first biscuit on your plate, top with your ice-cream and finish with your other biscuit. We drizzled some chocolate on ours! And enjoy.
