Carb+ is a unique blend of three carbohydrates that offer different functions, but work together to provide a balanced fuel source for your entire workout.
Containing Dextrose Monohydrate and Maltodextrin, Carb+ will help supply instant, quick energy to deliver an extra spike in your output ability during training.
Isomaltulose provides a more sustained, longer lasting energy release to ensure you’ll power through your training session from start to finish.
Consume 40g of Carb+ around training time when sustained absorption carbohydrates are required. A flat 30ml scoop provided equals 40g of Carb+.
Combine powder with at least 400-600ml of liquid to avoid gastro intestinal discomfort. Consume immediately by itself or with protein, BCAAs, etc.

How does Carb+ taste?
Carb+ is a neutral-sweet carbohydrate blend. If you are familiar with Maltodextrin and Dextrose Monohydrate, it does not have the sweetness intensity of these products alone.
What is it made from?
- Isomaltulose is derived from sucrose.
- Dextrose Monohydrate is derived from corn.
- Maltodextrin is derived from corn.
How should I mix Carb+?
Carb+ is ideally consumed with water alone, or in combination with other supplement products such as Branch Chain Amino Acids or Electrolytes that also assist your training.

Why is Carb+ made up of three carbohydrates? Why not just one?
Carb+ is a unique blend of three carbohydrates that have different functions, which work together to provide a balanced fuel source for your workout. Containing Dextrose Monohydrate and Maltodextrin help to provide instant, quick energy that you require while you train, these provide an extra spike in your output ability. The inclusion of Isomaltulose provides a more sustained energy release, as Isomaltulose is a slower release carbohydrate source.
The inclusion of Isomaltulose helps to provide longer lasting energy, rather than the rapid quick energy often received from simpler carbs, followed by a quick decrease.
What is Isomaltulose?
Isomaltulose is a disaccharide carbohydrate composed of glucose and fructose that occurs naturally in honey and sugar cane.
While it is similar to sucrose, Isomaltulose possesses a unique molecular linkage that causes it to be more slowly and steadily broken down in the GI tract. It is completely digested and absorbed, but its prolonged release into the bloodstream results in lower glycemic response and insulin release as compared to sucrose.
As an energy source, Isomaltulose has the same caloric value as other carbohydrates (4 kcal/g), but its sustained release makes it an excellent choice for fuelling endurance sports. It can also be used as a sugar substitute with its mild, natural sweetness, and zero aftertaste - and it won't impact negatively on teeth.
Is Isomaltulose itself sugar free?
This is where things get confusing. While Maltodextrin is not classified as a sugar, it acts very similarly to a sugar in the body. Its absorbed quickly and gives an instant “spike”.
Isomaltulose on the other hand is technically categorised as sugar (for labelling purposes) yet it acts like a long sustained, slower absorbing carbohydrate! Don’t get confused by the sugar content though, the important message here is that Isomaltulose is a slower absorbing carbohydrate, great for sustained energy or recovery.
When should I use Carb+ ?
Carb+ is ideal for longer, endurance style training where prolonged energy is required. It also works very well as an intra training or post training recovery fuel where it will restore glycogen levels over a greater period. If you prefer a quicker “hit” of energy, then Dextrose or Maltodextrin alone may be the better choice.
Can I use Carb+ in all my workouts?
Absolutely! All workouts require energy and if you are continually training for a length of time that requires you to consume substances for energy then Carb+ is a great solution for this, as well as hydration throughout your session.
Can I use Carb+ after my training?
Yes. If you are looking to increase your carbohydrate intake as well as refuel after your workout then Carb+ is a suitable product and can be mixed with your protein shake for easy consumption.
Will I get a sugar spike from Carb+ ?
No. You will have some increases in blood sugar levels but because of the inclusion of Isomaltulose that will start providing energy later then maltodextrin and dextrose, you will have prolonged energy that will slowly decrease rather than have a rapid drop which can also cause fatigue.
I started using this as a substitute for dextrose to take with protein for energy during and post workout. The flavour is less sweet which I like, but it seems less soluble; I now mix it a few hours in advance so that it is completed dissolved and not grainy
Really great product, just makes water a tiny bit sweeter so its really easy to drink during a workout
Gives me a great initial carb hit to begin training and the energy lasts much longer than just using simple sugars before a workout.
Well, What can I say, returning to training a bit holder and still like to hammer my self in the pool! This year I put a goal on my 5 km race and this product help me sustain my intensity in the difficult set!
