Bulk Nutrients' 100% Organic Pea Protein Isolate
Pea Protein Isolate is a natural vegetable protein derived from peas. It's considered one of the best protein sources for vegans and vegetarians due to its balanced amino acid spread and high protein concentration.
A vegan friendly, natural protein powder
Bulk Nutrients' Pea Protein Isolate is derived from 100% organic Canadian yellow peas and is totally dairy, lactose, GMO and gluten free.
The amino acid spectrum is similar to whey and breast milk and it is considered one of the best vegan protein sources for both muscle growth and recovery.
Low in carbs but high in protein
Pea Protein Isolate from Bulk Nutrients averages at 83% protein and contains less than 5.5% of carbohydrates. Only the highest grade Stevia is used to reduce bitterness and the final ingredient is 100% natural flavours.
Great for sensitive stomachs
Pea Protein Isolate is free from common allergens such as lactose and soy, so it is an ideal protein for people with food intolerances.
Taste, texture and mixability
Bulk Nutrients' Pea Protein Isolate has a smooth texture, mixes well and produces a slightly thicker than normal shake.
It's also perfect to add to a smoothie or shake with fresh fruits like berries and bananas or immune-boosting yoghurt.
Combining with other proteins
Pea Protein Isolate is often combined with Rice Protein Isolate to achieve a superior amino acid profile than either protein alone.
Pea Protein Isolate is low in the sulfurous amino acids (cysteine and methionine) but rich in lysine; in contrast, Rice Protein Isolate is low in lysine but has high levels of both cysteine and methionine. The combination of Rice and Pea Protein Isolate also helps mitigate the strong, chalky taste of Rice Protein on its own.
This combination is considered by many to be among the best tasting protein powders and we have combined them optimally in our popular Earth Protein product.

Good price, mixes easily, good protein/carb ratio and gluten-free.

This protein is super natural and healthy, with so few ingredients. on that note, there isn’t much to make it taste amazing. Not a big deal if you just chug it down after a workout or blend it with other flavours. Overall it’s a great vegan protein and it gets the job done.

I have tried a couple of other protein powders from pharmacies but was not really happy because the taste felt very artificial and/or sugary. I quite like this one because I know what is in it. I mix it with soy milk and it tastes fine. Of course I like that it is made locally too. Will try other varieties next time.

Unfortunately this product is not what I like. It taste to much like dried peas without the flavouring making any difference. It’s also got a very thick texture which I know is in the description but it’s not a pleasant texture at all.

I had pea powder about 10 years ago before vegan supplements were so readily available and it was repulsive. I tried to bake it into muffins or blend it into smoothies but it made everything taste like dirt with the consistency to match. This pea protein from Bulk Nutrients, however, doesn’t have any of those nasty qualities! It is basically flavourless, even on its own and it isn’t gritty. It blends into whatever you’re making really well. I love it! I look forward to experimenting more with it.

I originally tried this and found it did not mix or taste as good as Whey. But later after it was used up, I found myself wanting it. I tried it again and liked it more. Whey then seemed thin and unsubstantial. My last purchase, 10kg of Pea, 0kg Whey. Love it! (even better with coconut water instead of milk, chocolate flavour is better than vanilla, DON'T TRY WITH WATER!)

I use pea protein because it is natural and I reckon that's got to be better for me. I've recently begun using Bulk Nutrients Pea Protein Isolate and find it does the job well for me. I'm a senior and use it in my keeping fit program.

I recently began to use pea protein after noticing Whey and even Soy proteins caused me to get really oily skin and breakouts. Ever since swapping to Pea Protein, problem has subsided without any effect on my gains or progress.
The taste is good, much better with milk(dairy, almond, or soy) than it is with water. Mixability is good, it's not grainy or powdery, but not as mixable as a standard whey. The tradeout for me however is very worth it. Highly recommend it for anyone who is vegan or otherwise gets unwanted effects from other proteins.

Mixes well, not grainy at all and the chocolate flavour is delicious

I think it is pretty potent but only one problem it is not so mixable and bit of effort to get accustomed to the taste.
rest i'm in love with this for results.
