Why Should You Switch To Bulk Nutrients Plant Based Earth Protein Powder?

Earth Protein uses only 100% Natural Ingredients

If you're tired of dairy and other lactose issues, if you avoid whey for ethical reasons or just want to give your digestive system (and the planet) a rest, then our Earth Protein is ideal. Combining natural non GMO, plant proteins with 100% natural flavours and sweeteners, Earth Protein is as good for you as it is the planet.

Non GMO, dairy free, soy free

Earth Protein is dairy free, contains no soy and is 100% free of GMO product, added dextrins and fillers. It's free from ingredients that commonly cause allergic reactions. It utilises a 100% organic Brown Rice Protein and 100% Canadian Yellow Pea Protein as its protein sources.

High Protein, low carbohydrate

Earth Protein averages 81% protein, from non GMO and naturally grown sprouted Rice and Pea proteins. It is ideal to assist recovery as well as muscle maintenance and growth. We believe it’s the best protein powder for vegans and those looking to vegan proteins as part of a healthy diet.

Earth Protein is ideal for muscle growth and repair

Our combination of pea and rice protein makes Earth Protein a great substitute for whey, with a full balanced spectrum of 18 amino acids (which cannot be gained from either in isolation), in levels which are ideal for muscle growth, recovery and repair. High in specific Branch Chain Amino Acids and Essential Amino Acids, consuming plant based proteins no longer needs to be a compromise.

We take extreme care when producing our vegan proteins, we have dedicated lines and machinery for our non dairy products to reduce the chance of cross contamination. Please be aware that we produce dairy proteins in the same facility, and despite our efforts there is a chance cross contamination (at very small levels) can occur.

About Plant Protein Blends

Plant Protein Blends are a combination protein blend which combine natural plant-based proteins (usually Pea and Rice).

Rice Protein is great to include in Plant Protein Blends as it’s high in protein and low in fats and carbohydrates. It also has high levels of Alanine, Arginine, Glutamic Acid and Tyrosine.

Plant Protein Blends often include free Pea Protein due to it being high in protein and low in carbohydrates as well as containing high levels of Serine and Tryptophan.

What’s the different between plant protein and animal protein?

The main differences between plant proteins and animal proteins is the lower protein content as well as lower levels of Leucine and Essential Amino Acids (EAAs). Animal proteins are closer to our own proteins in our body and are readily used at a faster rate.

A Plant Protein Blend however produces a more complete protein sources and a more compelling alternative to animal proteins. Plant Protein Blends have a more balanced spectrum of amino acid and can be comparable with a Whey Protein regarding muscle growth and recovery.

How do Plant Based Protein Blends compare in taste?

Plant Protein Blend aren’t as creamy as a Whey Protein but over the last decade taste and texture have improved as the products become more of a mainstream adoption.

Rice Proteins can often be hard and gritty, while Pea Proteins help improving smoothen the blend improving the texture.

Natural sweeteners are usually added to protein blends as they can help counteract the bitterness sometimes found in other Plant Proteins Blends.

Other reasons to make the switch to Plant Protein Blend?

Rice and Pea Protein Blends contain no animal products and are generally free from soy and lactose. This makes a Plant Protein Blends perfect for vegetarians and vegans or those who are sensitive to lactose as they’re virtually allergy free.

Plant Protein Blends can be a more sustainably option, as to produce them uses far less CO2, less land and less water when compared with producing animal proteins.

Some people also choose Plant Protein Blends due to ethical reasons.

Plant Protein Blend FAQs

What are Plant Proteins?

Plant Proteins are proteins made from purifying and refining the protein which comes from plants. Pea, Rice, Soy, Mung Bean and Hemp are just examples of these.

These are generally extracted using water, heat and filtration… with the liquid matter then dried and further refined. The resulting powdered protein product usually has a protein content of between 50 to 90% pure protein.

Why are Plant Proteins better?

Plant Proteins are better for people who have digestive issues with dairy, as well as vegans who don’t want to consume any animal matter.

Plant Proteins are arguably better for the environment as they take less land to grow and use less resources in the refinement process. This results in Plant Proteins generally being accepted as having a smaller carbon footprint.

Are Plant Proteins as good as Dairy Protein at building muscle?

This question is still somewhat debated, but the consensus is that Plant Proteins are not as good as Dairy Proteins at building muscle. Dairy proteins have a better spread of amino acids, a higher PCDAA score with greater bioavailability.

Most importantly to many people, dairy proteins taste better, they are more reminiscent of a milk shake – as they originate from milk.

The good news is that many studies which compared plant proteins to whey concluded plant proteins simply require a larger dose. Once the dose is increased (and key BCAA levels are reached), Plant Proteins are just as effective.

Are Plant Proteins lactose free?

Lactose is a carbohydrate (sugar) found in diary, Plant Proteins are 100% lactose free. This makes them a great option for those following a lactose free diet.

Do plant proteins contain fat?

Yes, but this varier a lot depending on the plant source.

Rice and Soy Proteins are very low in fat; however Pea Protein contains around 5 to 6% fat.

Do plant proteins contain cholesterol?

Proteins derived from Pea, Soy, Rice and Hemp do not contain any cholesterol.
