Product Description

Bulk Nutrients' All Natural Soy Protein Isolate

Bulk Nutrients' Soy Protein Isolate has one of the highest nutritional values available. It's 100% GM free and contains no cholesterol, saturated fats or sugar.

Soy Protein Isolate has a great amino acid spread and can be used for building muscle as well as losing weight, or simply substituted for a meal.

Easy on the stomach

Vegetable proteins are gentler on the stomach than animal proteins so are suited to people with animal product allergies or sensitivities.

At Bulk Nutrients, we don't add anything to our Soy Protein Isolate that shouldn't be there.  That means it's free from any additives, artificial flavourings or sweeteners and is 100% pure.

Suitable for vegetarians and vegans

Our vegetable proteins are flavoured with only completely natural ingredients. We use RA 98 Stevia as a sweetener (one of the highest grades available), which flavours the protein while adding no bitterness. What's more it's calorie free!

For our natural flavours we only use Natural Cocoa for Chocolate and Natural Vanillin for Vanilla. Natural Vanillin and RA 98 Stevia come at a very high cost, however we feel these ingredients are important to ensure a great tasting natural product.

We take extreme care when producing our vegan proteins, we have dedicated lines and machinery for our non dairy products to reduce the chance of cross contamination. Please be aware that we produce dairy proteins in the same facility, and despite our efforts there is a chance cross contamination (at very small levels) can occur

  • Good but too sweet

Posted by on Apr 03, 2018

The soy protein seems to be giving me good results and is not making me bloated like some other WPI I have tried.
I am finding a too sweet for my liking though, I actually add some unsweetened soy milk to try and tone down the sweetness.

I have tried both flavours and can easily say that they taste best with a banana, coconut milk and some ice cubes. Put all that in a blender and you have yourself an extremely tasty shake! A very nice alternative to whey. Thanks!

  • You get used to it

Grainy and needs a lot of water in order to mix to a reasonable degree. Chocolate flavour is not too bad, and it's very easy on my stomach.

  • Great value bought in bulk, vegan & non GMO

The value for money when you buy in multiples is pretty unbeatable. Both chocolate and vanilla flavours are ok as they are and great as smoothie add-ins. The best thing about this product for me is that there is no doubt about the quality - 100% vegan & non GMO

  • Affordable, tasty, vegan protein.

I ordered 10kg as the previous company I used stopped making soy and I can't tolerate pea so well. So far, I have only tried vanilla (previous one I used only came in natural or chocolate) from mixed order but was pleasantly surprised. It's great in my smoothie or nicecream. Very affordable and it's great there are several other vegan options in the range I can try later.

  • WPI vs SPI

Posted by on Jan 14, 2018

The grainy texture is something I'm still getting used to, after switching from whey to soy. Though I prefer the flavours in this, because it's not sickly sweet (unlike the WPI). Great value for money too!

  • Perfectly Balanced

Love this product. Bit more soy tasting than others i have tried but love that there is no sugar and the perfect amount of chocolate. Mixes perfectly. I'll be back for more. A Great Find!!

  • Solid choice

I switched to soy when I realised how much cheaper it was compared to the Earth/WPI/WPC proteins. I can't really comment on the texture as I only ever use it in smoothies mixed up with oats/nut butters/fruit etc., where any issues with texture are mooted. WPI/WPC beat soy on protein vs carbs/fat, but soy beats Earth by that metric, as well as price.

My only quibble with flavour is that the vanilla is far too sweet. Raw is as meh as you'd expect - mix it with whatever you need to make it taste better. Chocolate is fine as is.

  • vanilla vs. raw

I first ordered the vanilla flavored soy protein isolate but it was so horribly sweet I hardly managed to swallow the first sip. It tasted like I just had a full sachet of stevia by itself and the aftertaste lasted for hours. Now I have a full kg of vanilla flavored protein isolate going to waste in my cupboard. I then decided to order a kg of unflavoured soy protein isolate and I'm quite happy with it. It doesn't taste great (I usually blend it with frozen fruit and make a smoothie) but it's definitively much better than the vanilla one.
