Many people might think that it isn’t that easy to grow muscle, maintain a lean physique, all while on a plant based diet. However that is just what Bridget has managed to do, and her vegetarian weight loss stack is a key component in how she achieves this.

AM Burner

As the name suggests, AM Burner is ideal to take in the morning. This is due to the stimulatory effect of some of the ingredients that can help increase energy and focus.

Increased focus can also be helpful for maximising your training session as well, so AM Burner can easily be taken before your workout. As Bridget trains in the morning this is perfect.

Acetyl Carnitine

Acetyl Carnitine (Alcar) is a perfect ingredient to help with weight loss as it helps to utilise the body's stored fat as an energy source. Bridget likes to take her Alcar before a training session for maximum effect.

Earth Protein

If you have more lean muscle, your body will naturally burn more calories at rest, and to grow lean muscle you have to train right and eat right. Bridget prefers to avoid dairy based proteins, so Earth Protein is a prime solution for her, as it combines both pea and rice protein to make a complete protein source. Proteins are the building blocks to muscles and also aid in recovery and reduced muscle soreness.

Bridget has a serve of Earth Protein after a training session, often adds a scoop to a smoothie to boost her protein intake and on occasions as a quick snack if she is having the afternoon munchies!

Green Fusion

Bridget has a pretty busy schedule, between training, work and being a mum, getting sick for her isn’t too much of an option. To help support her immune system Bridget adds Green fusion into her supplement stack. How do you train like Bridget?

Monday - Back & Arms

Bridget starts off her training week with a tough back and arms workout. This session will help build strength and develop definition with its combination of dynamic movements such as chin ups and isolation movements such as bicep curls. By the end, your upper body will be toasted and after some time everyone will be saying ‘baby got back!’.

  • Chin ups – 3 sets – to failure
  • Lateral pull downs – 12-15 reps – 5 sets
  • Middle back row – 12-15 reps – 4 sets
  • Bent over row superset with bicep curls (squeeze at the top of movement) 12-15 reps – 4 sets
  • Triceps dips – 3 sets – to failure
  • Chin ups – 2 sets – to failure

Tuesday - Legs

Tuesday is leg day! Bridget’s leg session combines two of the main lifts; barbell squats and deadlifts which not only target the legs but the rest of the body too! With the addition of leg burnout exercises like walking lunges and lying leg curls, this workout is designed to stimulate lean muscle growth and increase your strength. 

  • Barbell squats – 15 reps – 5 sets
  • Deadlifts - 10 reps - 3 sets
  • Walking lunges – 12 reps (each leg) – 3 sets
  • Wide leg press – 12 reps – 4 sets
  • Laying leg curls – 3 sets

Wednesday - Chest & Shoulders

Hump day, bench day! This workout combines the third major lift, the bench press, with a series of awesome accessories that will sculpt your upper body and of course burn some sweet calories!

  • Flat bench press – 15 reps – 5 sets
  • Incline bench press – 15 reps – 4 sets
  • Seated Arnold dumbbell press superset with standing side raises – 15 reps – 3 sets
  • Upright row superset with front plate raise – 15 reps – 3 sets

Thursday - Light training day

Come Thursday Bridget likes to take an active rest day to give her body a break. This day usually involves a light walk and some yoga. Yoga is not only great for relaxation but is also a great way to stretch out!

Friday - Core & Cardio

Friyay is for building core strength for Bridget! She warms up with a sweaty incline walk and backs it up with an ab circuit. 

Cardio: 30 minute incline walk (or stair climbs)
Ab Circuit: 1 min per exercise, repeat five times

  • 1 minute plank
  • Toe touches
  • Bicycle crunches
  • Hanging knee raises

Cardio: 10 minute cool down walk

Saturday - Legs

To finish off the week strong, Bridget hits legs one last time. This time around the squats are heavier and there are holds and pulses to really burn your legs out. You’re sure to be nice and sweaty by the end of this one!

  • Wide stance squats with low walking lunges – heavy squat weight – 3 sets - 8 reps – 20-25 lunges
  • Standard stance squats – heavy weight – 3 sets - 8 reps 
  • Leg extension – first 10 hold 3 sec at top of movement, last 10 quick pulses – 3 sets – 2 reps
  • Deadlifts – 3 sets – 10-12 reps
  • Calf raises – 3 sets – 25 reps

Sunday - Rest

Finally a rest day! Although Bridget is always busy meal prepping and getting ready for another week of success. 

Using the following Bulk Nutrients recommended routine will see the Plant Powered Muscle Stack last approximately two months.

Training Days on the Veggie Weight Loss Stack

  • Earth Protein. One serve of Earth Protein can be had any time of the day, ideally around training time. If consumed with meals it should replace a proportion of a meal.
  • Green Fusion. One serve a day of Green Fusion can be had any time of the day.
  • 1 x serve of AM Burner once a day. This should be consumed anytime before noon.
  • 2 grams of Acetyl Carnitine once a day, 30 minutes before training.

Non Training Days on the Veggie Weight Loss Stack

  • Earth Protein. One serve of Earth Protein can be had any time of the day. If consumed with meals it should replace a proportion of a meal.
  • Green Fusion. One serve a day of Green Fusion can be had any time of the day.
  • 1 x serve of AM Burner once a day. This should be consumed anytime before noon.
  • 2 grams of Acetyl Carnitine once a day, anytime of the day.
